Bihac Municipality has interest for project proposal partnership with interested partners and we are able to participate in preparation, creation, implementation and co-financing of the projects.

The last war resulted in severe damage of economy, and employment rate is still at low level (27%). In the structure of income the largest participation has the field of services, while production activities still do not achieve results that can start faster economic development.

As a local authority, Bihac Municipality is competent to undertake activities proposed with any project, considering the previous experiences in the preparation, implementation, coordination and facilitation of projects such as EU RED project on establishment of regional business support centre, USAID-SIDA GAP, Local economic development project in cooperation with World Lutheran Federation, ASB, International Rescue Committee, Edinburgh Direct Aid (reconstruction and local economic development projects), Phare program, CARE International program on the economic development, EKO BIS Fair (International fair of ecology, eco tourism and eco organic food) co-organization) etc.

Bihac Municipality has very well established and functional organizational structure in accordance with the European standards. Being actively included in the projects above mentioned, we gained significant experience on managing funds, procurement processes undertaking in accordance with EU and other donor's procedures, design, monitoring and evaluation of the projects and reporting. Bihac Municipality has a role of a main initiator of the projects implemented within this municipality as well as canton and NW Region identifying the priorities in line with the strategic goals and in accordance with the results of the every day analysis undertaken by Bihac Municipality, especially Department for the Development of the Entrepreneurship. This Department received significant number of trainings on the Project Cycle Management, marketing, entrepreneurship development, socio economic analysis, SWOT analysis, Public Relations, feasibility studies, etc.

At the end we emphasize that Municipality, nongovernmental and business sector have capacities that are ready for preparation of the partnership with you, implementation and co-financing the projects.
